Here's the one picture I got of Charlie's new haircut.
It's hard to tell in this picture, but his head now looks a little smaller.

He sat pretty still while I was cutting his hair. Mike and a coloring book and crayons helped to distract him a bit.

Speaking of Mike, today Charlie has been calling his dad, "Mi" (short for Mike: I guess the little guy already loves to abbrev!)

somewhere out there....

I put Charlie down for a nap this afternoon and then went to check Ed and Linda's blog. The picture of Ben (on the right) was posted. Ben was sleeping for the night and Charlie was having a nap. Anyway, the picture inspired me to run upstairs and take a picture of Charlie...and all the while the lyrics from "Fievel goes West" were running through my head!

And even though I know how very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishing

Tonight--like he's known the answer his whole life and has just been waiting to share--Charlie pointed right at my eyes when I asked him, "Where are Mama's eyes?"
